Pool Table Installation
Assembly, shimming and cloth, for a table that is staying where it is.
A table can be in the right room and still be a pile of parts. Flat-packed from a showroom, bought off someone else, inherited with the house, or abandoned halfway through by whoever took it apart.
The work is the same in every case: frame built and squared, slate bolted on, seams filled and worked flush, cloth stretched and fitted, table levelled. Shimming eats the clock, and a room framed out over a garage gives more underfoot than a ground floor does.
What installation includes
Everything below is included, whatever the table arrived as.
- Frame and legs built and squared, positioned with cue room clear of walls and furniture.
- Slate bolted on, seams filled and worked until a ball crosses them in silence.
- Cloth pulled over the bed and fitted round the rails.
- Pockets and rails refitted, cushion rubber inspected on the way past.
- Level read bare, then read again with the cloth stretched.
Used tables often show up without their bolts, pocket irons or shims. Say so on the request and the crew brings them.
What finished looks like
At Charlotte Pool Table Movers we guarantee all our work. If you use our services and are unsatisfied with the results, we will come back out to resolve the issue. That is good for 90 days after the service is completed. We are fully insured against any damage that may occur while moving your pool table.
There is no additional charge for stairs on a three piece slate table. We will only move one piece slates up or down stairs under certain conditions and for an additional charge. Disassembling a three piece slate table and taking it out to storage or to your movers is $150. A discount is given when you combine new cloth with another service such as a move or an installation.
